Here in the Climate Smart Lab, we are a group of people who are concerned about the negative impacts that climate change has already caused and will continue to cause to our communities. We are developing sustainable climate solutions with cutting-edge technologies to help build climate-resilient communities.
Climate Smart Lab is located within the Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation at UPEI, which is situated in the beautiful community of St Peter’s Bay, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Our research in the Climate Smart Lab is innovative and transdisciplinary as climate change is affecting all aspects of our daily lives and we need to investigate the impacts of climate change on many sectors, such as infrastructure, communities, agriculture, fisheries, tourism, ecosystems, health, and so on. Collectively, we are working together with experts from all disciplines to build a climate-smart future for the next generation and many generations to come.
